As relationship expert Ester Perel famously says, “the quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.” Most of us spend roughly 1/3 of our lives working, so it follows that our work relationships will have an outsized impact on our overall well-being. It’s no joke that people often refer to their business partner as their work spouse or their team as their work family.
I have made it part of my life’s work to help people improve the quality of their professional relationships.
Interpersonal issues will, and should arise in any high functioning partnership or team. But unresolved conflict, overt and covert power struggles, conscious and unconscious bias, and issues of marginality and inclusion will erode trust, break down communication and impede achieving results. Without trust, partners and team members do not feel safe to admit vulnerability and skill deficiencies. They hide mistakes for fear of reprisal and the bottom line suffers.
My coaching and facilitation methods support you to develop strong, psychologically safe, and deeply satisfying teams and partnerships. You’ll learn to communicate effectively, use power wisely, collaborate across differences, and unlock the creativity and best thinking that emerges from productive conflict.

Learn skills for building trust and engaging in productive conflict. Includes a 360 Partnership Review, individual and comparison Hogan Leadership Assessments® and a customized partnership coaching plan with readings and action learning assignments. Power Intelligence® for Teams
This program utilizes the Diamond Power Index®, a cutting edge, multi-rater assessment tool that helps leaders develop awareness about the impact of their power use. In addition to individual results, a team profile (with anonymized scores) offers insight into the team’s strengths and power challenges. Especially valuable for teams working towards psychological safety, fairness, belonging and other DEI goals.
Open Forums / Facilitated Dialogues
Open forums provide a safe space to listen to multiple perspectives and surface underlying or submerged issues. Facilitated dialogues can help a pair, team or organization focus on their culture, get unstuck, work through conflict and start collaborating productively. Custom designed programs or events may include individual surveys, interviews, or coaching sessions prior to bringing stakeholders together for breakthrough dialogues.
Team Building Retreats
Together with my partners at 361Artworks, we provide immersive experiences that marry art, play and awareness practices. Our innovative methods make the sessions easy and enjoyable (even for so-called non-creative types), while tackling gnarly team and organizational challenges.
